the problem is that the person who created the interesting content is actually the person in control. Example: suppose you had a website that sold widgets and you decided that your website was a little stale and felt that is should change more frequently. So you stick and interesting rss feed on the top that is going to disply the latest news about widgets. A visitor come to your website and sees the interesting link to the widget news and follows it off your website, the visitor may forget to return to your website and you have potentially lost a sale. The widget news website just got a new visitor from you and may sell them something through advertising perhaps to a competitor or yours.I don't believe that sticking someone else rss feed on your website in order to make it dynamic is a good idea at all.

To benefit from rss you have to be in control and therefore you have to make the news content yourself, hopefully feed it to other website with a view to getting their visitors to come to your site and buy your widgets.
